My new Girlfriend

To make money online you have to have some tools to achieve that. One of the important one is a pc or a notebook. I just got my notebook last week and was busy installing all of my favorite softwares into it. Mostly are freewares or sharewares as the company does not allow unlicensed softwares to be installed. It belongs to the company .. so, i have to follow certain rules, but rules are meant to be broken right?
It is a HP’s Compaq NC6400. A Centrino Duo with 1 GB of RAM but with only a combo DVD drive. I can read but can’t write, only able to write to CDs. I was looking forward to edit and transfer some of my video I took during our family vacations to DVDs. Especially when I am away for the project in Prai. Can’t do that now.
Actually, if you are blogging for money or blogging as a hobby, you should have one. Not necessarily a notebook, a pc will do and you should be doing that at home, comfortably, not in a cyber cafe. Most cyber cafes are noisy with all the speakers on and also crowded. Anyway, it’s only my personal view.
To those who’s been tagging me on how my desktop look like, that is about it. I only have the recycle bin on the desktop (the same at home but with a different wallpaper). The additional 2 are the remote login icons which I haven’t housekeep. I haven’t change the background either. I like my desktop clean. My favorites are all located in the quick launch tool bar. How about yours?

Anyway..how my desktop looks like? Aha……its messy. Everythings on it though i know that would make my computer runs slowly…sebabnya apa? i’m impatient. Everythings i need must be on the spot. Sebab kadang2 tu tak ingat download kat mana. Rugi masa kena search..terukkan? But after a few days i make sure tht those things downloaded been moved to my thumb drive.

If you think it’s messy, the organize it using directories. Sometimes putting everything on the desktop will make it worse. It gets crowded and u cant remember which is which.

PC DELL tapi notebook tu HP la but I would prefer DELL though. The support is good. Tapi HP ni pun ok jugak. Tengok le macam mana, baru je seminggu guna.

You r right on the customer service. Compared to all other vendors pc & notebook vendors they r good but when it comes to servers I prefer HP though.

it should be compatible with vista and it comes with 1 GB of ram, should be sufficient enough to run the basic version. No plan to use Vista yet, you know windows. full of ‘dust’ the 1st time you open it. Prefer others to do the cleaning first

dell upgrade for support sb… barang dia tak brapa elok… berbanding hp walaupun pasang di china tapi quality control bagus… cuma biasanya hp ada masalah dengan ram dia saja… yang lain semua am suka… berbanding dell… waktu awal tahun ini… 300 unit laptop masuk… 150 acer n 150 dell… takde satupun dari acer ada problem… tapi dell boleh kata 3/4 darinya ada masalah.. sama ada dengan hardware n software… sebab itu dia kena upgrade support berjuta2…

Actually, PC DELL kat ofis aku, tak pernah pulak bagi masalah. Hanya certain users aje yang biasa buat masalah, tak kira lah bagi komputer apa kat dia. GM plak tu

my little pc is 5 years old, just 128 on RAM.

Sihat Shueqry, alhamdulillah. Hope you’r find too. My PC is also about 5 years old. Have plan to change that as well. Maybe next year. BTW, why Acer, why not try IBM or a Sony ..ha..ha.. but it will be a bit expensive
