Money and Football (ok lah .. Soccer!)

October 24th, 2007 | 12 Comments | Posted in Football

Making money from the internet is like playing football. I am referring to the game played by 2 teams with 11 players on each team and everyone runs after the ball and when someone got to it, he need to kick it with his foot. Objective is to kick it, or head it (but most of the time is kicking), into the goal. That is football. Not the American game where you run, holding the ball and then throw the ball with your hands. ha..ha..

You must understand how to play the game.

You have to be consistent if you really want to make it.

Arsenal, Football, English Premier LeagueTake a look at Arsenal (and Manchester United). They are consistent. Their managers understand the game. They loose a game or two but they’ll bounce back in the next. Arsenal especially. Arsenal beat Slavia Prague 7-0 yesterday even when Henry is no more with them. Unlike Chelsea, one problem after another. Now that Mourinho has left, it’s getting worse. The players are restless. Big money, big names do not guarantee big success but, the bigger they are, the harder they fall :) . Something must be done, and fast. They don’t play the beautiful game well either. Maybe they should try Naples cosmetic surgery instead. Get the players to be beautiful :P .

Anyway, we will be waiting for Arsenal at Anfield this Sunday. It’s going to be tough.

He’s cute (Ronaldinho as well) not due to those defects. It’s due to the money they make. If Ronaldo works as a street sweeper, will anyone find him cute?

    Bent,

You have to change your way or maybe blogging is not for you? You’ve moved from BelieveDreams to BentDaniel but looks like being consistent is really difficult. I got a tip of being consistent from PakDi, maybe I’ll share with you later ok :)

    hi azwan,

arsenal looks good this season. arsene really an incredible coach. he knows how to bring the good out of his palyer and that is what coaching all about. some coach can only lead good player. they fail when they have new player. they blame players when they can’t focus on the field. they stick with certain and when they are injured and then loss a game these coaches make injury as excuse. football is a beautiful game and exciting one if you know how to really play the game.

anyhow good looking blog azwan. thanks for having me here.

Thanks for visiting. I agree with you. You got to make what you got work and Arsene did a good job at it.

Or maybe it was Henry. Did you notice that the turnaround was after he left? Was he a problem?

IMO because they haven’t good replacement to cover viera places in midfield. so they give more ball control to henry to cover the loss. but that move make henry not to be so sharp. fabregas is till young and new at that time so their midfield still weak.

van persie is very talented player. i notice him to be a very good player during world cup 2006. but he has some kind of attitude problems on the field. maybe he feels that other player or coach don’t respect his talent. his shot is so powerful. ok azwan got to stop write about soccer. too many thing in my head about soccer but don’t want to get into it. still has a lot of thing to do with internet marketing stuff. so see ya around. keep up the good work.

    a football fan :)

Whatever they did, they play the beautiful game well. I still remembered the game against Fulham (cant remember exactly when, VanDerSar still with Fulham). It ended a draw. It was a beautiful game of attacking and defending. If only I can watch something like this in Malaysia’s own Liga Perdana, I would watch even if we don’t have names like Van Persie or Fabregas.

on the other hand, Liverpool is back to their last season ‘drama’.
