Successfully Transfered PayPal to Al Rajhi Visa Debit Card

By now, most of you should already know that you can withdraw money to a Malaysian Credit Card or Debit Card.

I was chatting with Kucau on Monday regarding transferring money from PayPal to a Malaysian bank debit card. He proposed that I try out Al Rajhi. I told him that I recently read about those who tried but failed. It ended there, but I kept on thinking why it failed when those who tried with Public Bank cards were successful. Then I remembered a discussion somewhere about verifying PayPal account. Even though others were successful, not necessarily you would too, even when using the same credit card. Sorry, forgot where and why.

So, I decided to try my luck. Opened a savings account on the same day and got my Al Rajhi Visa Debit Card. As soon as I could access to my computer, logged in to PayPal and made a transfer of USD100. Paypal charges USD5 for each transaction.

I waited until Thursday and checked my Paypal account again. The status changed to “Completed”. At the same time, I logged in to Al Rajhi online and RM1 was deducted but there was still no news about my USD100.

It got scarier when I read about 5XMom failure to withdraw her money using Al Rajhi Debit Card. However when I logged in yesterday, the transfer was successful. The exchange rate was RM3.3125 per USD1. Ok lah, not bad. At least I can transfer on my own from today onwards but I will check with Al Rajhi later on the xrate.

Just to make sure that everything is for real. I went to Kota Damansara’s Al Rajhi yesterday and withdrew the money. See :)

Not sure why others got problem with Al Rajhi. Maybe they need to check with the bank. I am not going to do a step by step of how to withdraw the money from PayPal. If you have verified your PayPal before (if you haven check out this), then it will not be a problem for you. Log in to PayPal, click ‘withdraw’ and follow the step by step instructions.

Miche was successful too, with her UOB credit card but she didn’t blog about it.

I’ll be dreaming about MONEY tonight. So, what are you waiting for? Get your own Al Rajhi Visa Debit Card.

Getting a cash advance is certainly a big help to those who need to take care of some bills or need cash fast. With a payday loan you’re able to get a cash advance that can help you get money you need when you need it.

Al Rajhi ni mcm murah je service charge die…??

azwan reply on November 4, 2007 12:27 am:

cek memang mahal. tu sebab semua income from TLA aku accept guna PayPal aje, cepat pun cepat, tak perlu tunggu cek. Pasal Google cek tu, apa kata kau cuba Western Union.

Soryy reply lambat, aku offline 2 hari, anak tak sihat.

    Salam Azwan..

    Check this out:
“With regards to your email , your Al Rajhi Debit-ATM Card- i, is a worldwide access card to your bank account through the Visa Network. You can use your card to pay for purchases, shopping, and bills as well as withdraw cash at ATMs. Whenever you see the Visa or Visa Plus sign, you can use your Al Rajhi Debit Card – i. Al Rajhi Debit Card – i, are accepted for payment on the Internet. When using Verified by Visa sites, you are assured that your transaction data and account information is secured. For added security, your Al Rajhi Debit Card – i , will allows Internet transactions if CVV code is provided .However ,our Debit Card-I cant be used for any Pay Pal transactions for security purpose.”

I have a few questions for you.

Do you have any problems with Al Rajhi at the moment?

I’m also sure that you have enrolled in PayPal’s Expanded Use Program. Did you get your PayPal account verified on Al Rajhi’s debit card or on some other cards?

If you sucessfully verified your PayPal account with Al Rajhi’s debit card, how much did you put in as your savings deposit? The minimum $20 or did you put in more?

I’m asking the above questions because I’m having problems with Al Rajhi at the moment. Thanks and really hope that you could provide me with some answers.

    (1) I have not made any withdrawals lately. Manage to sell Paypal to a few buyers.

    (2) My PayPal account is a verified account but I didn’t use Al-Rajhi since I only got this card recently. I verified using my Direct Access credit card.

    (3) since i didnt use Al Rajhi’s so I think the deposit amount question is not valid, kan.

I’ll try again when I have enough funds, will let you know ok.

kebykan kad debit lain kena verify paypal dulu.
    thanks info….

azwan reply on June 11, 2008 10:40 am:

Maaf, masa verification dulu saya gunakan CIMB Direct Access, so saya tak pasti samada debit card al rajhi ni boleh digunakan atau tidak untuk paypal verification.

but since it already allows you to withdraw, i dont think it will be a problem to use it for verification.

kau boleh refer post lama aku di

    http://azwanhadzree.com/2007/06/paypal-credit-card-verification-us-bank-account/

it has link to ebooks on how to verify paypal with a debit card or a credit card.

CIMB direct access is just another type of credit card. Tak semestinya guna kad tu. In fact kau patutnya boleh guna mana-mana credit card or debit card.

Anyway just refer to my earlier post as the link above. Download the ebook, read and try it out. It should help. If you hv any problem, please fell free to contact the author.

Another link is malaysiapal.com, check this out as well.

    sorry, never done that before
btw, there’s actually ‘no money’ in your credit card. just credits for you to use. u cant transfer what u dont have.

easiest way is to call the bank.

    Hi all…

Just wanna tell you that I baru je transfer duit dari paypal ke Al-Rahji amounted to USD500.

Transfer pada 7 July 2008 baru ni dan tengok dalam Al-Rahji dah masuk pada 11 July 2008. Menurut pegawai Al-Rahji, paypal ambil masa sedikit nak transfer manakala Al-Rahji cuma dalam 2 hari….hmm…not bad for one week!

How about exchange rate? Tolak fee paypal USD5, the rate is USD1 = RM3.218….wow! nice rate yang mana pada masa ni memang exchange 3.2….

    Thanks Al-Rahji!
