More Money with Nuffnang

Taking a break is fun and of course relaxing, but when it comes to blogging, traffic during holidays is always low especially now. Raya Haji was last week, Christmas on Tuesday and New Year next week. Most people will be taking a week off which means less surfing.
Less surfing = Less visitors to azwanhadzree dot com = Less income
What am I talking about?
Well, I got 2 advertisers that wanted to advertise on this blog through Nuffnang. In a row! One last week and the 2nd one this week. If you’re familiar with Nuffnang, sometimes they will get advertisers to advertise directly at your site for a whole week and you get paid by the number of hits your blog received. Which means, the higher the traffic, the more they pay. Pity me 
, great offers but wrong timing … but I still have a week to pump up the traffic.
Anyway, this is what you are going to see until 29 Dec 2007 in the advertisement box below. Even though I may get just a small amount from them, I am still grateful.

visitors to my blog? it fluctuates a lot sometimes a lot, sometimes it can be as low as about 50 per day
Azwan, actually i just installed nuffnang on my blog and yet there is zero clicks from the advertisement, i just wonder how much they give per click on the advertisement? based on traffic or what? where can i get the full information rate of nuffnang ads?
One more thing, ko rasa tak nuffnang tu melembabkan page loading ko? Before this, page loading aku takde la slow sgt.. install je jadi agak lembab sket..

hmmm… if you get as per what i get above. it is based on traffic CPM. they pay higher if the traffic is high. the traffic is group by bands. band 1, 2 and band 3 … for the last week advertisement, mine reached band 3. Not much but enough to buy me lunch for a day. I’m not sure i can disclose you the amount or not.
If you don’t get any direct advertisers as above, then .. it’s CPC. i’m not sure how much is per click. you can check at your earnings section. I can only see date and amount, no number of clicks stated anywhere. So, I’m not sure.

Actually i just installed nuffnang on my blog, i wonder about its rate perclick la, how can i get the information?
1 more thing, after i install nuffnang, macam lembab je page loading aku.. mmg ke ape?

tak pasti pulak pasal lembab tu. A lot of people complained about this earlier but recently, the loading time is faster. i am currently surfing using Digi, nampak ok je. maybe you can check with their support.

For me, nuffnang do not “lembabkan” my site…Maybe some external factors affected the slight time delay in loading your site.

i see more nuffnang than advertlets on your blog now… from what i heard, the algorithm for nuffnang is quite diff from others but of course can’t confirm one.

i am thinking of moving out advertlets from this site. I started off with advertlets but looks like i make more with nuffnang, so macam mane?
but even though i maintain both, i still have enough space unless i need those space for direct banner advertising

i received RM30++ from nuffnang from only 2 ads.
received RM30++ from advertlets in less than 24 hours.
sad thing, no more ad from nn (on mine) and no been very slow from advertlets. both still cannot cash out. nn

they said, they geo target the visitors, maybe the hits from my site is only about 60% from Malaysia, that’s why (maybe) my payment is lower. Tapi entah lah.

I receive an offer from an advertiser/nuffnang 3 -4 months ago for my chem eng blog. That ad runs for a week, the pay is not really high. But, at least i appreciate them considering advertising in my blog.

it’s not much, mine was only at band 3 last week. traffic a bit low towards the end of the year, but if i keep on getting this every week, per month i can make at least RM25 from them.

BAt, the check that you are referring to is the one from Advertlets, right? Not NuffNang, so .. you can’t complain about NuffNang. I heard a lot of people are complaining about Advertlets being damn bloody slow in issuing the checks. Maybe if you could get everyone that haven’t got theirs, choose a day and start blogging about that, they might listen.

That’s great news. How much is your earnings from them as compared to the other companies you have signed up with?
I haven’t signed up with them as yet. Not sure whether I am even eligible as I am in the UK. However, most of my readers are still from Malaysia.

Adam, I think you are eligible but pls check with their support first to be sure. as they said, they can know where your readers come from. ads will ‘only’ be shown to readers from Malaysia and Singapore. how true the statement is, i’m not sure.
I can make more by writing a single post for ‘3Ps’ than I make with them in a week.
