Bloggers Slammed

Zaki Blogjer recently posted that bloggers are being monitored and we should watch out words. Datuk Seri Azalina Othman, who is also the ‘previous’ :) government’s Youth and Sports Minster said that bloggers are being used by the opposition to spread lies and rumors. So, tell me Azalina, who are these bloggers?

As what I replied to Blogjer, if she can generalized . ha..ha.. I will not say it again here, you can refer to Blogjer’s post to find out what I said in response to his post.

Anyway, I can’t blame the opposition for using blogs as their media, as the mainstream media are often compelled to ignore or to play down the many events organized by the opposition. For the last 1 month, the first 20 minutes of Bulletin Utama is all about how good BN is, the next 10 minutes is about how bad the opposition is and after that … maybe .. yes .. maybe we could listen to real news.

To all bloggers, no matter what they say, stay united ….. and enjoy this video.

i guess thats THEIR fault of bringing too rapid a development to the country.. blame la diri sendiri.. hehe..
talking about democracy ie freedom of speech; just to deny it on several aspects that pose threats on them is just so contradictory.. but i guess thats how ‘it’ works la..
    takut dgn diri sendiri..

So’od, there’s nothing wrong with development. It’s only wrong when it only benefit a certain group, like in the video .. yang miskin makin papa kedana.

Actually I don’t like taking about politic but in this case seem that the government assume that we (bloggers) against them for no reason at all..? of course we have a right to voice out whatever we want..that’s nothing wrong with that because their (politicians) claims this is democracy country.. am i right?

what is the different between saying out loud your opinion about the country’s political issues in blogs, and condemning others during political ceramah or during election campaigns, or during media session held by government? It seems all same to me, nothing different. If she thinks that we are demokrasi, rakyat berhak bersuara, so let rakyat bersuara then. After all they can always use the AKTAs…. like ISA, OSA, USA (if ada ler…) to harrass and tangkap the bloggers if the want kan? What so big fuss about it???

Bloggers should be let free. It’s just for them to express their opinion. And is that wrong?

yeah you’re right.malaysia is not democracy, why, because only gov conquer the tV.while opposition dont have it.they cannot shout out loud what in their mind, all we see is BN is good, opposition is BAD. i agree with you. to be democracy, they should give space to opposition to have their own media,TV..opposition use internet to spread their thought, agenda, thinking etc to the world. anyway nice post

They are more afraid at those who are telling the truth. That’s why they say bloggers are bad. At forums, biasanya bersembang kosong, but when it comes to bloggers, ‘most’ write with facts.

Ahh, I’m too late. Thanks for the link love!!

The 1st video is so true about our politician especially on the ruling party side. They’re so naive!! They don’t know that how much bloggers bring foreign money to this country.

Unfortunately we don’t have that figure. Perhaps someone can start doing research about this as an eye opener to this politicians who know to spend the money only.

We need leaders, but not corrupted leaders who feel that this country is belong to certain party.

azwan reply on March 9, 2008 12:34 am:

it’s ok bro :) .. anyway, the election result will give a clear picture to BN … do not try to cover up and start lying about anything. There are people who will know and info will leak out.

There’s nothing wrong with bloggers, we are normal human being to, why not start making friends with us instead of otherwise.
