Free Water For Selangor Starting June 2008

Yes, you heard me right. The new elected state government had studied their earlier proposal to provide free water and had worked out a formula that would benefit the people. From 1st of June, 2008, all domestic consumers in Selangor who are using individual meters will start enjoying free usage of water for the first 20 cu m.
I did request for cleaner water. Maybe they can’t do that just yet, and came out with this proposal. I think I like the way it’s heading unlike the Federal government. They said the will help to lessen the people’s burden by not increasing the petrol price, not increasing the gas price and not increasing electricity tariff. By not increasing, you are not helping to lessen our burden, you are just delaying.

nUUr, my house is at Sungai Buloh Selangor. I don’t mind if Penang is not giving it for free as the water that I used there is paid by my company.

Selangor is one of the riches state in Malaysia. By right, they should be able to give more … tapi nanti semua orang pindah Selangor, jenuh gak.
