Duran Duran

This used to be my kind of music when I was in primary and secondary school. Duran Duran, when I was a fan, is made up of Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor. And FYI they are the first metrosexuals. Men with money and with a strong concern for their appearance.
They are still making albums. Their latest one is Red Carpet Massacre. I am not a fan anymore. As I get older my taste on music has somewhat change, but once in a while, I’ll play their songs … just to recapture the moments. They remind me a lot of my best friend, Khairul, who passed away due to leukemia. Nuff said, just enjoy the music ok.

that’s from their earlier album - Notorious. I was in form 3 or 4 at that time.
By the time the Ordinary World single was out, I was already in Uni.

He passed away when we were in our early 20s. That’s about 14-16 years ago. were best friends since primary 1.

you guys should see azwan hadzree and friends berlakon jadi duran duran buat performance kat rumah kitorang dulu masa zaman2 dia mat diskang.
Raket badminton and raket tennis selalu jadi guitar, kalau diorang melepak, lagu tu selalu kena on kat my brother’s room.
I remembered the day we received bad news pasal arwah abang khairul. We were at Jitra at that time, baru lepas maghrib, nak dinner, you got the phone call from his sister rasanya, I pun tak ingat. But it was a very sad moment for all of us at home at that time. Arwah always lepak our house before kita pindah Melaka.
