Anwar Ibrahim, The Next Prime Minister?

THE Permatang Pauh By-Election was won by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. At the end of the vote count at about 9:47pm, the PKR de facto leader received a total majority of 15,671 votes to beat BN’s Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah.
The results at the final tally are:Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim: 31,195 votes
Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah: 15,524 votes
Hanafi Hamat: 92 votes
Majority: 15,671 votes

As expected, Anwar won. No doubt about it even though Arif Shah was confident that he could beat Anwar Ibrahim. Looks like whatever they did, did not affect the election in any way.

- Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan’s swearing on the Quran
- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s swearing in a mosque that he did not know Mongolian Altantuya
- 15 sen reduction of petrol price, a few days before election
- Two of PKR”s Perak state executive councillors and three other PKR politicians were arrested and later charged for corruption
- Lee Chong Wei’s whatever
- etc .. etc .. etc
None. Furthermore, Anwar won 2283 more votes than what his wife won in the March 8, 2008 general election.
If Pak Lah, and his UMNO and BNs allies, keeps lying … and the mainstream media, with its usual one-sided news reports, continues to do what they are doing at the moment … one day, everyone will stop believing them.

kita tunggu dan lihat samasa semuanya akan menjadi kenyataan or Anwar ended ’somewhere’. siapa tahu kan, ramai yang tengah ketaq sekarang ni. Although aku bukannya penyokong parti PKR, tapi aku ingin juga melihat apa yang akan berlaku.
