Blogging LiVE From Ipoh
AzwanHadzree in currently in Ipoh. He has to train a group of users on SAP’s customized bar code program. This is part of the preparation for the Ipoh plant and also the Shah Alam plant to go LiVE with SAP next month. He was in Shah Alam the whole of last week.
He was hoping to stay at a better hotel this time, but the company got him the usual boring one, Excelsior. No free wireless internet access although it was advertised :
Internet Broadband facility for all Deluxe rooms and Executive suites.
Or maybe the room he’s staying is only Superior :P. Even the broadband access at the lobby is not free, you have to purchase a TM HotSpot prepaid card.
Anyway he contented himseft with Astro StarMovie the last 2 nights, at least there is cable tv.

My HP Is Now OK

Before that, aku memang jeles dengan Hayat for his new notebook.
Now, back to my post. The ‘Iron Man‘ above is now back online, alive and kicking. The HP engineer changed the charger and the motherboard. Now, I am back to blogging as usual .
If only my bosses knew that I blog with it, they will be pissed off … eh..h … but I don’t blog during working hours 
Come to think of it, after analyzing what happened. It was not the laptop or HP, but the stupid HP engineer that attended to my laptop. He does not has the skill.
Imagine this. He came, opened up my notebook, took out something, put in something and then called HP Support for support … WTF! He called for help? He came again the next day, took out something, put in something and then called HP Support for support (again!) and only after that, that he decided to bring my notebook back. 5 days to fixed one notebook.
No wonder HP’s service is bad in the northern region.
By the way, the previous post was my 200th.

My HP Notebook Play Dead
My HP Compaq NC6400 has been giving me problems for the pass 3 weeks. First it was the charger. Most if the time it can charge but sometimes the power supply likes to play hide and seek 
. Then after that it was the motherboard. I was able to use my notebook, but at a reduced speed and the battery coudn’t be charged at all. Tried a fresh installation of Spybot and Avira, confirmed bukan virus.
HP’s Support
In terms of support, HP was very slow to response. When my IT technicion called for support, HP said that the charger warranty has expired. So, I proceed to raise a Purchase Requisition, but once the PR was approved, the HP Account Manager said that it is still under warranty. WTF! Time wasted for nothing, but now, I am still waiting for confirmation whether the charger is under warranty or not.
As for the mother board, they are only able to come tomorrow or Tuesday. Damn bloody slow!
HP vs Dell
We also have Dell notebooks, but unlike HP, Dell’s response is outstanding. All the while it is always the next business day for all that are still under warranty. I am not talking about servers here. I am comparing the support for a notebook between HP and Dell.
Anyway, my notebook is still out of commission

For the time being I will be spending more time to go through Inside Adsense and other blogs that discuss mainly on how to optimize Adsense and make more money. I’ve Been Busy

Sorry for missing in action for a few days, but as I said earlier, as a part time blogger, it’s difficult for me to blog daily. My daytime job pays more than my blogging activities . I have my breaks on weekends and there will only be 3 posts a week. The best way for you to keep updated is to subscribe to my blog :
Anyway, the contest is still on, and after almost 2 weeks the stats is as below with Bent leading the pack. To make it more interesting, I may remove the top commentators plugin towards the end of the month. So that no one will know who’s leading.
What is Azwan Hadzree up to
- I’ve been tied up with work lately. There’s a new SAP workflow requirement, which is not difficult to do, but kept my head thinking for a solution. The consultant who submitted the functional spec was not helpful either
- I also have been traveling from Sungai Petani and Prai this 2 days. My farther is hospitalized due the instability of his blood pressure. The doctor needs to do some monitoring and he has to stay in for a while. Please pray that everything will be ok.
- I’m also helping my sister to setup her blog, aidayurani dot com. Registered it yesterday and the skeleton is already up. Should be ready once she settle her office issues (and when she can find some time off her social life). For the time being, head over and be the first to say hello. Do take note that SKII is up, so please don’t try to Spam.
Another reason why I didn’t blog this few days is to let you (and myelf) to settle down after the election. It was a big shock for some people. Even my father joked about it when he was admitted yesterday, saying that it was due to the elections’ results.

To those who are eligible to vote, are you ready? I’m .. and I’m driving home to KL tonight. Will only be back to blog next week. Taking the weekend off to spend some time with my family and maybe update our kids blog with my lovely wife. Only a day to go, and I’ve received a lot of sms and emails on numerous issues, all are related to election, the government and the opposition parties. Only 2 sms I’m highlighting here. The rest will totally turn my blog to a political niche blog and there’s a few which are a bit too vulgar.
The 1st one is a joke on niat mengundi :
“Sahaja Aku Masuk BARISAN, untuk undi PAS, kerana KEADILAN.”
And another one :
“Bulatkan tekad jangan dok timbang-timbang lagi”
Ha .. ha .. so … you are assuming that I’ll be voting for the opposition, right? Wait and see tomorrow, undi adalah rahsia.
My Election Wish List
Of course, I can’t dictate the voting process and decide who wins, but do have my wish list :
- I hope Samy Vellu will loose his seat. It’s Malaysia, he is a minster, but he can’t speak Bahasa Malaysia. Of course I will not tell you the rest of my reasons.
- Whoever won the election, be it BA or BN, please provide us with clean water. I know petrol is expensive, but I don’t make my coffee with petrol.
- Make Malaysia a safer place. No more Nurin Jazlin or Sharlinie related cases, and no more PATI. Send them home!
- And if BN wins again .. Pak Lah, please choose your cabinet members wisely, don’t let monkeys to run Malaysia, and … please try to stay awake.
Interested to get the PAS 2.0 graphic to decorate your blog, get that and Keadilan’s from AzmanZainal. Can seem to find Umno’s or Barisan’s anywhere .. or maybe I didn’t look hard enough.
