Free Traffic From Twitter
Nov 3, 2008 Traffic
Since the Web 2.0 concept began in 2004, a lot of cool websites have emerged. One of them is Twitter. Basically, Twitter is a free social networking service that allows the users to send and read other users’ updates.
From that simple function, AzhamZanal, has found a way that you can use Twitter as a source of traffic to your blog. Am’s report will tell, how a simple short message can create a huge impact to your blog.
What Is Twitter Traffic About?
Basically it’s about how you can leverage twitter as a source of traffic to your blog. It’s a one, only 16 pages, but it contains a step by step instruction on how to turn Twitter short text into traffic.
This is the second time I reviewed his report and if I compare this with the previous Traffic Secret, he has matured a lot. Twitter Traffic is structured very well and easy to understand. Read it once and you know what to do already. The only prerequisite is that you must have a Twitter account
It covers:
- Following & Followers
- Twitter Limit
- Get REPEATED traffic and
- Extreme Marketing With Twitter
Where To Download Twitter Traffic?
You can download Twitter Traffic Marketing here or simply click on the pic above. Since it is only 16 pages, I am not going to repeat what’s in the report. Trust me, you don’t want to miss downloading this report as it’s worth your time, and it’s free
Special Offer
By the way. There’s a contest with a total prize value of USD250 and Master Resell Rights to the Twitter Traffic Marketing mentioned above. Too bad to the ones that just only knew about this, as 5th Nov 08 is the last day of the contest.

I receive my free Wordtracker report every Wednesady. The report contains 2 major items, the top 300 surge report for the last 48 hours and the top 200 keyword report for the last 110 days.
Since I maintain multiple blogs, sometimes I will use the free data to further optimize the keywords use in my blogs, especially the ones related. The keywords listed usually have been filtered from adult keywords. However some did get through.
Lately I noticed that a certain Malay keyword has been consistently in the top 10 list. It has been there for the last 2 - 3 months.
gambar pemerkosaan*
Last week it was at number 4. The week before that it was at number 8 while currently it is at number 17. That is from the ‘last 48 hours’ list. For a longer period, it is now at number 10 for the last 110 days. Since it is in Malay, Wordtracker must have missed it during the adult key phrase filtering process.
I wonder what kind of people would be interested in those kind of pictures. If the top keywords reflects the society we live in today, we should be very concern. Remember Nurin Jazlin?
Sharlinie was never found. What about our kids. Will they be safe?
Btw, how many countries in the world uses the Malay language? Go figure where the searches were from.

Get More Traffic With Contest
Aug 13, 2008 Traffic
I was just experimenting on something earlier this year, and these are the things that I found out.
Burst Your Bandwidth With Contest
You can easily gain more traffic by having a contest. And I did with the Threesome contest (together with Blogjer and Cyza Sector) even when the prizes were only reviews from our blogs.
At the same time:
- My posting frequency increased.
- Traffic doubled during that period - from contestant, and also from the search engines due to more posting.
- My earnings from Nuffnang increased - due to more traffic from Malaysia.
- I got a few new readers.
Maybe after this, I should give real prizes rather than a review. Maybe a hosting package, a discount coupon, a mug
or even a dinner date with me
(open to single ladies only)
Don’t Hold Any Contest If You Are A Nobody
Before holding any contest, just make sure that you are well known. Not necessarily famous, but at least there are people who knew your blog exists. How to know?
- Review you traffic. Don’t do it if you have only 3 visitors per day.
- Take a look at your comment sections. Is there any comments?
- Consider your emails too. Do you get any inquiry from your readers?
Leverage Your Network’s Traffic
That was one of the reason I did the Commentators Contest with two other awesome bloggers. We leveraged our traffic and at the same time made new friends.
Drawbacks
However, the drawbacks of having a top commentators contest is the spam like comments that your contestants left. It’s better to have a rule at the first place and make sure the rules are clear.
You will not gain anything for PPC type of advert but you will from the ones based on impressions type.

Che Det Is No Exception
Jun 23, 2008 Blogging, Tools, Traffic
Found out this morning that CheDet’s blog have been suspended by Blogger.

On Friday June 19th, chedet.com was locked by the administration of Bloggers.com for what was termed as “suspected spam blog”. Following that chedet.com has not been able to publish any new posting pending approval by bloggers.com.
Despite repeated appeals Bloggers.com have yet to “unlock” chedet.com to allow for posting of new comments. Due to this measures have been taken to migrate chedet.com from Bloggers.com in an effort to avoid further disruption, hence the new page set up.
Refer to his blog for details.
Why should Google care, eventhough he was our Prime Minister. Google didn’t like me and they took my PR4 away. This time Google didn’t like CheDet’s blog and they barred him from accessing or updating his blog. He’s been getting a lot of traffic, almost a million in a month. His daily traffic is more than what i will get in a month or 3 months or even in a year, and Google thought that his blog was a spam blog.
What can I say? Since Google is providing it for free, they can take it back when they want it.
Luckily, the domain is his. At least he can point it to his new hosting provider. Not sure where is he hosting his blog but looks like he using movable type. Another thing is, it’s only a personal blog. Imagine if it’s a business blog or if he’s making money from all that traffic.
Domain and Hosting is very affordable nowadays. You can really get cheap hosting from as low as RM5 per month. That’s about USD1.5 per month and it includes both domain and hosting (I am on NetKL). So, why risk your site/blog by hosting it with Blogger and allow them to take it away from you for no reason?
Cheap hosting is easily available, get your own hosted domain. If you are looking for one, check out the links below.

Only 13 Hits
I was shocked when i checked my blog’s statistics yesterday. At lunch, there was only 13 unique hits. As first, I thought that there may be some problem with my site or my hosting company. But when I visited my own blog, everything was normal.
Then I noticed this message, which was in red at the statcounter screen :
Dear Members,
Due to an outage at The Planet (data center) several of our servers are down and service is limited. We sincerely apologize for this interruption in service. Unfortunately, some stats will be lost during this outage. We continue to work to restore full service and thank you for your patience.
The StatCounter Team
Lucky for me, it was only my stats and that is also a free service. Not my blog. Even if it was my blog, it’s a personal blog and not a business website.
Anyway, this just shows that … when disaster strikes, even when you have the best disaster recovery plan, there will always be some outage. Disaster is beyond our control.
Zaki covered the same thing too, but much much earlier than my post.

Heard Of Blogtitude Before?
Basically, it is an aggregator. Blogtitude reads your feeds and list them on their main page. It’s something like :
- BlogRush but it is not listed on your blog. Everything is at Blogtitude
- It’s something like Innit but you don’t have to submit your post manually
- They plan to have something like digg and dugg but they are not that famous yet
, and they don’t have any APIs that you can submit any post you want. You must be a registered user - It even has its own directory
The Bad
I’m not sure whether they are still in Beta or not. Blogtitude has been up for a while but there are still some bugs with the system. Is it due to the lead developer who is still schooling? I am not talking about age here but more on the time that he can spend developing it. Maybe they should think about getting a full time developer or maybe put a time frame to complete the project by phases.
The Good
Another tool to expose your blog to the general public.

Anyway, there’s nothing great about it yet, but if you are randomly looking for something to read and want to try your luck, give it a try. It may take you to some cool site, like mine
. Treasure hunting is always fun. And there’s only an option here. Either it will just die off (Happy People Media will need to really think about their strategies) or it will be the next big thing. Either way, you can’t loose.
If you have a blog, why not register. I have been getting a steady stream of traffic from it and it is much better than BlogRush, but be prepared for bugs.
If you need information about blogs so you can start your own blog, you’re able to find great info on how to make a blog of your own. Search for good info on blogs so you can start blogging.

PR4
Nov 13, 2007 Blogging, Reviews, Traffic
If you noticed, azwanhadzree.com page rank is now 4
, yey! As usual, this post is where I list out the top commentators of the previous month. For October 2007, here is the list.
Top Commentators : October 2007
- am. He decided to revamped his blog. Currently the site is looking for co-authors.
- abdfatah
- Azhar Ahmad
- zool
- kucau. Kucau not only got back his PR but gained a higher one.
- east43street
- shutterspeaks
- c11*5. Finally my sister made is to this list.
- elyza, my secret admirer? She hasn’t been stalking me lately.
- Bat or Babat to some people
.
If you are wondering …
What are the benefits of having this Top Commentators plugin?
- Being listed on other blogs that made a post about it. You can refer to my earlier post.
- Return commentators, especially if your PR is high, whom in the end would be your readers and then your friends. That’s what blogging all about, making friends, sharing ideas etc.
- Increase the number of comments on your post which will also increase traffic.
The Cons
- SPAM! I can’t think of others that are worse than spammers.
It works the same way as removing the “NOFOLLOW” attribute but better. For the commentators of course. Commentators will get backlinks from a the main page instead from the post page. PR from the main page is always higher.
If you are the top 10, then you get to be in the same post like this next month
. Want to be in this list? Just leave a comment. Comments are always welcome but please don’t spam.
